North America
Avram performs a wide variety of public health services in North America. Our cadre of epidemiologists, public health advisors, statisticians and scientists continue to contribute to the success of our partner, Centers for Disease Control (CDC) programs. Our program managers successfully guided Centers for Disease Control Laboratories (CDC) through the process to achieve ISO 17025 accreditation. We provided program support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
In the Republic of Haiti and Guatemala, Avram experts have successfully completed the design and implementation of behavioral and biological surveys; provided expertise to the governments in the development of national household water treatment and storage plans; tested common household water filtration systems for efficacy, and investigated manufacturing plants producing water filtration devices for desired levels of quality.
Avram also provided counselors, media experts, project managers and evaluation services for the country's first national HIV public awareness campaign in the Dominican Republic.
