Africa

Work by Avram in Africa has improved the quality of life for untold numbers of residents with essential expertise : Maternal-child health policy development and program implementation, health security policy and program implementation, laboratory quality and capacity, monitoring and evaluation, policy development, curricula development and delivery, immunization campaign planning and implementation and health communications. 

Asia

Home to half of the world’s population, Asia is a place of contradiction. A critical driver of the global economy, it is also home to half of the world’s extreme poor. Avram collaborates with partners to tackle Asia’s unique development challenges, including health issues that could have adverse global implications. Our experts investigate zoonotic diseases, builds laboratory quality and capacity, provides program and data management, and creates impactful health communication material. In addition, Avram provides essential technical guidance in the development of human clinical research trials and provides program management and data analysis.

Central America and The Caribbean

CENTRAL AMERICA and THE CARIBBEANIn the Republic of Haiti and Guatemala, Avram experts have successfully completed the design and implementation of behavioral and biological surveys; provided expertise to the governments in the development of national household water treatment and storage plans; tested common household water filtration systems for efficacy, and investigated manufacturing plants producing water filtration devices for desired levels of quality.

Avram also provided counselors, media experts, project managers and evaluation services for the country's first national HIV public awareness campaign in the Dominican Republic.

North America

Avram performs a wide variety of public health services in North America. Our cadre of epidemiologists, public health advisors, statisticians and scientists continue to contribute to the success of our partner, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) programs. Our program managers successfully guided Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Laboratories (CDC) through the process to achieve ISO 17025 accreditation. We provided program support to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
